Want to find out how FYLD have worked alongside industry experts to make capturing pollution data more efficient, accurate and reliable at Southern Water?

Join Spring and FYLD on Tuesday, 30th July to find out how they have been supporting Southern Water to streamline the way they capture data to better tackle, control and prevent pollution events.

Southern Water recognised the need for a more efficient and accurate system for capturing and reporting pollution data. Traditional paper-based methods were time-consuming, prone to errors, and offered little in terms of an evidence-based audit trail of the work Southern Water’s crews were doing to mitigate and solve pollution events. That’s why Southern Water partnered with FYLD, a provider of innovative work execution software, to implement a digital transformation initiative focused on pollution data reporting.

The initiative aimed to enhance the accuracy and completeness of pollution data in Southern Water through real-time capture; while simultaneously improving collaboration and communication between field workers, engineers, and control centres, for faster response to potential pollution events. As well as creating further opportunity for internal collaboration, the project also aimed to enhance and promote evidence and data sharing with the Environmental Agency to ensure the initiative went above and beyond industry standards.

Sign up to this event to hear from Alex Saunders, Head of Wastewater Networks at Southern Water, about how his team worked with FYLD to integrate a digital pollution data reporting module within their existing FYLD mobile app. The platform goes beyond traditional methods by leveraging AI and real-time communication features to revolutionise pollution data capture and reporting.

Learn more about how, by empowering field workers and engineers with AI-driven prompts and a digital solution to capture the full audit trail of work, Southern Water put their crews in the best position possible to combat pollution events.

Following successful trials, Southern Water have since partnered with one of its contractors to successfully deploy FYLD within the contractor organisation to specifically address repeat sewer floods, highlighting the applicability of the initiative across all aspects of the UK water industry.

If you or somebody you work with would like to find out more about how FYLD’s AI-powered prompts and improved data capture have already helped Southern Water avoid 3-5 major pollution events through enhanced evidence collection and collaboration, sign up today!
