Join Spring and United Utilities on Tuesday, 2nd of July, from 10:00 to 12:00 to uncover how United Utilities and Datatecnics have co-developed an AI-powered water network optimisation platform, capable of radically decreasing water loss across an entire water network.
Datatecnics won a place in the United Utilities Innovation Lab under the ‘Predictive Asset Maintenance’ category. Building on the success of the lab, United Utilities and Datatecnics have worked together to build, refine, and deploy a system to digitise a water network consisting of a technology stack of high-resolution sensors, cloud technology, and AI-driven analytics to optimise investment and maintenance. The goal of the collaboration has always been clear: to develop reliable and usable technology that solves utilities’ most complex water network management problems.
With some of these problems in mind, they have built:
- AI-based technology that allows utilities to discover the remaining useful life of their critical assets (even without previous failure data)
- An AI application that helps find and fix leaks quicker than ever before
- A cutting-edge (yet easy-to-use) platform that breaks down data silos by connecting separate data streams into a single source of truth
Here’s what you can expect by joining the session:
- Find out how your organisation can reap the benefits of these AI-based tools developed over years of research, collaboration, and testing
- Discover the lessons learned from the 6-year journey of co-developing together
- Learn how to collaborate to turn problems into ideas and ideas into technology that a) matters and b) works
