Spring’s showcases are two hour deep-dives into an innovation project; giving suppliers and water companies the opportunity to share their innovation story, including lessons on what worked, what didn’t, how challenges were overcome, and what the path to adoption looks like for others in the sector.

Spatial Insight’s technology was already supporting utilities across Europe to reduce non-revenue water and plan asset investments more effectively. And after presenting at a Spring Innovation Showcase, attended by 12 water companies from across the UK and Ireland, the company is now preparing a pilot with SES Water, its first engagement in the UK.

Spatial Insight provides decision support software that helps asset managers plan pipe replacement programmes based on historic leakage data. By using this data to model future risk and compare investment scenarios, utilities can make more confident, evidence-based decisions without relying on expensive monitoring or condition assessments.
