Want to find out about how SME Water have worked alongside industry experts and water company practitioners to create an exceptionally rich water demand model, highly representative of real customer behaviours?
Join Spring, SME Water, United Utilities and South Staffs Water on Tuesday, 16th July from 10:00-12:00 to learn more about how their novel technology provides a greater level of insight into customer behaviour than existing models, while still maintaining a simplicity that makes it a useful tool for a variety of end users.
The water industry serves many customers with complex requirements and, in the midst of a changing climate, is also facing more frequent companywide demand events. This can make it difficult to track exactly where all the water in distribution networks is going, making day to day business activities increasingly challenging. Even for experienced practitioners, deciding how much water to produce, managing the movement water around networks, and separating leakage from demand, poses difficult challenges.
SME Water’s innovative tool, Paradigm, solves this problem by offering users a meticulous forecasting model that provides them with a detailed demand breakdown for hydraulic areas and the ability to predict customer consumptions.
This prediction is undertaken at District Metered Area (DMA) level, with each DMA’s demand constructed using its component parts, allowing the user to immediately identify internal data sets that do not match the expected net flow profile for an area. Paradigm then supports the interrogation of this information, using intuitive techniques to identify likely causes of these problems.
Join this Spring showcase to hear more about this innovative club project, and how it is bringing together some of the UK’s top experts together to continually enhance Paradigm and build a solution to meet our industry’s growing challenges.
